What we did for La Vita
The design we completed for the restaurant’s advertising image focuses on capturing the essence of cuisine in a dramatic and visually intense way. The aim is to create an image that not only shows the food, but makes it come alive, with a cinematic effect that promises a memorable dining experience.
Challenges and solutions
The image shows a sandwich in an explosion of flavours and textures, which seem to escape from the screen, creating a captivating 3D effect. This culinary “explosion” is not only a representation of strong tastes, but also of the passion and creativity of the restaurant’s chefs. Fresh ingredients, such as lemons, limes, and spices, are scattered around the flaming sandwich, suggesting the idea of fresh and made on the spot.
The lighting focuses on the sandwich, with a dark background to accentuate contrast and add depth to the scene. The bright parts of the image are carefully balanced to draw the eye to the centre of the composition. Fine details, such as drops of fruit juice and seeds in the air, add a sense of movement and vitality.
